your presets, devices and boards are stored in this browser and nowhere else. clearing your browsing data deletes them. so does a browser that decides to reclaim space on its own.

we cannot recover any of it for you. a backup file is the only copy that exists outside this browser.

every preset, every device you have built or saved, every board and its presets, which starter content you have hidden, what you have submitted to the community library, and your unit preference.

restoring replaces everything in this browser with the contents of the file. anything not in the file is removed, so a restore leaves you with exactly what you had when the backup was taken — not a merge of the two.

if this browser has work the file predates, download a fresh backup before restoring the old one.
